Mr. Ajay Mehta – Managing Director
By now a known figure in the
label stock industry, Mr. Ajay Mehta believes in a
solution-based approach. He started SMI as SM
Industries, with a 20" acrylic coater A strong believer in innovation and indigenisation wherever possible, he has developed a one-meter hot melt coater and acrylic coater. Mr. Mehta, acknowledged for his depth of perspective in labeling, has often been invited by the end-user industry of label stock. |

Mrs. Swati Mehta –
HR and Administration Director
Ms. Mehta oversees the finance and
administration activities at SMI. She has played a key
role in the company’s evolution and expansion, including
its ISO certification and implementation, as well as its
ERP network development and implementation.
Mr. Rajesh Khatwani – Sales/ Marketing Director
With a Masters in marketing
management from Mumbai University and more than 10 years
of marketing experience,
Mr. Khatwani
is responsible for
export business development and market expansion at
SMI.
His exposure to adhesives and films provides him with an
edge in label stock marketing.
Mr. Mushtaq
Ahmed –
Finance Director
Mr. Mushtaq’s down to earth
approach accompanied with a sharp acumen in finance have
been instrumental in looking after the company’s
financial needs . Ever keen to learn, he takes care of
the critical aspects of finance on a day to day as well
as from a long term perspective.
Mr. Rohit Mehta –
Director
Mr. Rohit Mehta is the young and dynamic face of SMI; he exudes his leadership qualities and
while retaining the cherished values of SMI, he has added fresh ideas and lean management with new initiatives to
enhance the team spirit of SMI.
